My father is teaching me, but when I’m at my Mom’s house, i want to be able to practice an learn on my own without purchasing a big and expensive program like Rosetta Stone. In my old Spanish class at school, we used to go to studyspanish.com and it would provide some free lessons, tests and games. Now that i am learning Polish, i am wondering if there is a website like that out there for learning Polish. Help please!

What is the name of this Spanish text/workbook?
I’m am looking for a particular Spanish text and workbook but cannot remember the name. Its cover is orange, it is spiral bound, and the chapters feature a list of vocabulary defined in Spanish, exercises related to those words and to the grammar lesson of the chapter, and a related excerpt from literature. Any suggestions?

I’m using Pimsleur and Rosetta Stone to study Spanish and I took a year of it at the university.. I know the RAE decided all spellings are supposed to be according to their latin origins when regarding V/B’s.
When I’m doing my Spanish lessons, I still come across some words that sound like a V in English. Even though I was taught V’s disappeared from Spanish due to Basque influence
My practice so far, even at my alma mater, was to pronounce everything as an English style B.
vacaciones = bacaciones
vaca=baca, vamos=bamos ect.
But when I read in Spanish, I tend to have a hard time following this and say “vamos” and “vacaciones” ect. As you’d assume they’d be pronounced as an English speaker.
I think it sounds better that way personally but I want to sound like I have a neutral accent (Columbian/Mexican).
Someone enlighten me on this??
I don’t have any Spanish speaking friends, I just wanted to become bilingual for the sake of it so I’m pretty much alone in this one

I take off lessons from online, and if someone wants I would e-mail them about my problems or we can chat, but I don’t trust many people on here. But will it improve my spanish? How long would I have to do it?

English to spanish translation?
Hey everyone, i go to spanish lessons and my homework is to do a book report. I know alot of spanish but im having a bit of trouble with this, can someone translate this for me without using a translator?
Halley and Scarlett have been best friends for years, sharing secrets, clothes, and crushes. While Halley is at sisterhood camp one summer, Scarlett’s boyfriend, Michael Sherwood, dies in a motorcycle accident, and Scarlett, for the first time ever, really needs Halley. After a while Scarlett, learns she is pregnant with Michael’s baby. Scarlett decides to keep the child, and Halley is there to support her friend.
Scarlett, meanwhile, introduces Halley to a boy named Macon(who was Micheal’s best friend), a very mysterious guy who doesn’t really care about school and who engages in risky behaviors. However, Halley starts to fall for Macon; she thinks there is something interesting about him. Macon asks her to be his girlfriend and she accepts. Halley’s parents, though, hate Macon, and think that she would be much better-off with her nerdy ex-boyfriend, Noah. Her parents soon forbid her to see Macon, increasing Halley’s desire to be his girlfriend; Macon takes Halley to a wild side, a side she never has been to before. Soon, Macon begins to pressure Halley into having sex with him, leading Halley to realize that Macon doesn’t really love her.
After an accident that leaves her in the hospital, Halley breaks up with Macon and focuses on the birth of Scarlett’s baby - a girl, whom Scarlett names Grace Halley, after her best friend
