I have lived in Spain fo 4 1/2 yeas and have lessons for 2 of those, but I live in a British populated area and very rarely get chance to practice my Spanish.
Has anyone else struggled with languages and what did you do to retain what you have learnt.

I am in spanish IV and one of the things that we have to do is go around to the elementary schools in small groups and teach little kids spanish. Any ideas for fun games to play with them so it is not boring. The lesson is only 40 min long so it has to be quick

I’m going to the Dominican Republic on April 14th and I want to learn some spanish. I’ve been looking at some websites that offer free spanish lessons but wanted to know if anyone knew of any good ones. I don’t want to have to pay so please don’t tell me about any pay websites. I just want to know the basic things that I would need to know how to say when talking to a housekeeper and a bartender and those kind of people. Thanks

I need to take an exam in basic Spanish in two months. I want to take lessons, but the schedules are in conflict with mine so I can’t. I have a textbook, how else can I learn the language on my own? I have a background in German but my own native language is a derivative of Spanish (somewhat).
